You can access our catalog anywhere, anytime on the internet. In our catalog you will find details of the resources we hold in our library - books, magazines, graphic novels (comics), audiobooks, posters, DVDs, and links to websites!
We’ve created virtual shelves in our library catalog to make it easy for you to find books relating to your Units of Inquiry, Learner Profile words, and Attitudes. There’s also some other shelves on topical issues!
You can even create your own private Virtual Shelves by logging in with your user id and password. If you are not sure what your id and password are please ask the EMC staff.
Blogging @ CIS
Blogging has rapidly become the newest essential tool for the educator. And you don’t have to be a “techie” to do it. The EMC will help you learn to use Weblogs, or “blogs,” for student's reflexion, to communicate with students and parents about your programs… or whatever else you want. Here are some good examples of what we are already doing at CIS.

Excellent databases for reference, periodical, and subject-specific research. Our subscription provides thousands of articles from encyclopedias, books, newspapers, periodicals, magazines, and more.
Media Center Facilities Reservation Form
Teachers may use our online Facility Reservation form to reserve the EMC facilities.
AV Equipment Reservation Form
Teachers may use our online AV Request form to reserve cameras, projectors, and other equipment.
